Part of the project involved stripping of the existing roof, rooflight structures etc. while retaining the underlying lath/lime-plaster ceiling.
1 of 2 - St John the Baptist RC Church, Ashley (Near Market Drayton)
The existing roof was stripped, along with rotten rafters and wall plates. Truss ends were cut back to sound material. The underlying historic ceiling was supported during this task.

2 of 3 - Burleigh Pottery, Stoke On Trent; Restoration of grade 2* listed bottle oven.
repointing was carried out using the correct constitution of Lime,sand & pozzolans as the results from laboritory analysis. Masonry cracks were consolidated with stainless steel crack tie system and repointed as previously mentioned. New brickwork restraint bands were manufactured and fitted around the circumference of the structure at varying heights.
4 of 7 - LongBarn Roof Joinery and floor joists.
New roof structure including remaking the queen post truss using the existing oak bottom beam .

Condition before restoration works were undertaken.
4 of 6 - L-Barn Completed Masonry Work.
Masonry work complete, repointed with hydraulic lime mortar and new Birchover stone lintels fitted over openings.
2 of 2 - Biddulph Grange; Resroration of the Batemen Gallery.
New rooflights were made with secret gutter detail around the perimeter. Tiles were made to match the original profile and colour.
2 of 2 - St John the Baptist RC Church, Ashley (Near Market Drayton)
New air dried oak rafters; wall plates and truss ends were made, fitted and jointed where required with mortise & tenon joints with draw dowels. Hot dipped galvanised steel plates were used to splice the new oak ends to the trusses. Supporting scaffolding was adapted to hold the weight of the roof when the truss ends were cut back.
2 of 3 - Biddulph Grange Mansion; Restoration works to mansion and rear yard.
Progressive works and building of the central feature with salvaged sandstone from the site.
1 of 3 - Burleigh Pottery, Stoke On Trent; Restoration of grade 2* listed bottle oven.
Mortar samples were taken and sent for laboritory analysis.
